How to Sell an Index Token (e.g. KJI)

Index tokens can be sold directly through the KujiraIndex app, by redeeming them for the underlying assets which are then automatically sold into KUJI or USK. Make sure your wallet is connected and your KJI balance is shown in the top navigation.

Redeeming KJI works in 3 simple steps:

1. Navigate to "Redeem" and adjust dropdown and select the currency you want to receive ($KUJI or $USK)

1. Enter KJI amount & press SELL.

1. Confirm the transaction in your wallet popup.

The popup will look different depending on your wallet. If you connected the KujiraIndex app to a mobile wallet, the transaction approval will pop-up be in the wallet app.

If successful, you should receive a notification and be able to see the redeemed KJI amount at the top of the KujiraIndex interface.

Can I sell KJI on a DEX?

Yes. You can buy & sell KJI on Kujira's orderbook exchange. However, there is no guarantee that the swap rate you get will be the same as the protocol rate that is determined by the value of the underlying assets in the smart contract vault. Buying KJI on exchanges should be done with caution.
